Our Commitment to Copyright

VidSaveo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to legitimate copyright infringement notices.

VidSaveo is a format-discovery tool that facilitates downloads from publicly accessible URLs. We do not host, store, or redistribute any third-party media content on our servers. However, if you believe that our service is being used in a way that infringes your copyright, we take such claims seriously and have established the following procedures.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or provide a list of copyrighted works if multiple works are involved.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — Provide the specific URL(s) or sufficient detail to identify the material you believe is infringing and that you want removed or access disabled to.
  3. Your contact information — Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement of good faith— Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the described material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. A statement of accuracy— Include the following statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  6. Your signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

Where to Send DMCA Notices

DMCA Designated Agent

VidSaveo Media Tools LLP

Email: support@vidsaveo.com

Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice

Jurisdiction: India

We aim to process all valid DMCA notices within 2-5 business days of receipt. Incomplete or improperly formatted notices may require additional follow-up, which could delay processing.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed or access was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the URL where it was located before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in India and will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original DMCA notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same designated agent listed above. Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the original notifier files a court action seeking a restraining order.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, VidSaveo has adopted a policy of terminating or restricting access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If a user repeatedly submits URLs for copyrighted content they do not have the right to download, we may take the following actions:

  • Issue a warning to the user's IP address or session.
  • Temporarily block the user's ability to use our download service.
  • Permanently block the user's IP address from accessing our service.
  • Blacklist specific URLs or content identifiers from being processed.

Important Notes

  • Filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
  • We recommend consulting an attorney before filing a DMCA notice or counter-notification if you are unsure whether the material infringes your copyright.
  • This policy applies to copyright infringement claims only. For other legal concerns, please contact us at support@vidsaveo.com.
